All This From A Turquoise?
I don't know how true it is...

The Latest Blogthing
Your Ice Cream Personality: |
You are an incredibly modest person. You don't feel comfortable bragging about yourself... or even receiving complements. You have a wild reputation, but you're not as wild as you seem. You take risks, but only measured risks. You are a very open minded, liberal, and flexible person. You love many things. You tend to have tastes that range from down home to cosmopolitan. You are a natural multitasker. You feel alive when you're doing more than one thing at a time. You can be a big dramatic and over the top sometimes. You are bold in every way |

Manic Monday
Do good things come to those who wait?
Sometimes, but more often good things come to those who reach out and grab them.
Your best friend's spouse is being unfaithful. Would you tell your friend? If so, how?
There's a good chance that my friend already knows, so I'd keep my mouth shut about it. It's really a thing between my friend and his or her spouse, none of my business, really. If my friend were to question me about the subject, I would answer honestly...
Which part of your body do you like the least? Would you change it through plastic surgery, if possible?
My weight is the only thing that I don't like about my body, always yo-yoing up and down. Plastic surgery is really no option. It would just come back. A better handle on my addictive personality is what I really need.

Let's load all of my music into a Win Amp playlist and see what happens...
1. Alright For Now - Tom Petty
2. Give Me All Your Love - Whitesnake
3. Hide Your Heart - Frehley's Comet
4. Deliberately Limited Preliminary Prelude in Z - Helloween
5. The Bitter Pill - Warrant
6. Whole Lot Of Leaving - Bon Jovi
7. Astra Wally - Rose Tattoo
8. Gimme Your Love - McAuley-Schenker Group
9. Brainwashed - George Harrison

Hmmmmm... I was hoping for something a bit weirder.
Maybe next week!
And now for the picture...
My freshly planted (by Michael) flower garden, with Grandma's birdbath taking a place of honor within.

Top 5 On Friday
A musical meme courtesy of The Music Memoirs.
Top Five things you want to tell your favorite musician.
I choose Michael Schenker...
Big surprise! (LOL)
1. You are a beautiful person, inside and out. Don't let ANYONE make you believe anything different.
2. Place your trust in the God of your understanding, not the God of someone else's.
3. Don't let people take advantage of you, no matter how much you may love them.
4. The beast is not always in the midst of beauty ready and waiting to attack. Sometimes the beast disguises itself as beauty...
5. You are, and always will be loved!

Death Note
The Live Action Movie (Part 1)
I've read the entire manga, have seen most of the animé...
So, of course I was at the special showing of the English language version of the first live action movie.
What did I think of it?
Quite frankly, it was awful. The flaws went far beyond the poorly dubbed English voices. A subtitled version would have been much more tolerable.
Too much of the storyline has been changed in order to bring the length down to fit in a mere two movies.
And the casting...
ARGH!
Here are L and Light as they looked in the manga and animé.
And here are the same characters as they appeared in the movie...
WTF?!
Not to mention the fact that Japan seems to be a haven for really bad, really hammy actors.
Still, it Was amusing.

Manic Monday
If you knew that every minute of the next 24 hours of your life would be recorded on camera is there anything you would change about your habits?
Not really, although I might tend to do things in a more dramatic manner. I'm quite a ham.
If you could take a one-month trip to any single destination in the world and money is not a consideration, where would you go?
Do you really need to ask?
I'd be off to Germany in a heartbeat!
What is the best example of “perfection” that you can think of?
You were expecting something else....?

Hillary Needs Your Help!
And so do the Demopcrats who voted in Michigan and Florida...
Millions of voters in Florida and Michigan are depending on you to help make sure they have a voice in this democratic presidential race. The Democratic National Commitee's Rules and Bylaws Committee is meeting May 31 to make a decision about whether or not the votes in Michigan and Florida will count. Please, remind them that in the Democratic Party, we count every vote. On May 31, the DNC has a chance to make it clear that the people of Florida and Michigan have a voice in the party. The decision is especially critical given the important role these states will play in November. Your voice could make the difference for the millions of people who went to the polls in those two states to make their choice for president.
Click here to help assure voters in Michigan and Florida that their votes will be counted.

My Music Has Something To Say
What Your Taste in Music Says About You |
Your musical tastes are intense and rebellious. You are intelligent... but in a very unconventional way. You are curious about the world. You love doing something new. In fact, you enjoy taking risks and doing things most people would shy away from. You are very physical. It's likely that you're athletic, but not into team sports. You have the soul of an artist. Beauty and harmony are important to you. |

Manic Monday
If the statement, 'You are what you eat' was true, I would be a noodle.
Mmmmm... I love noodles!
If you had to have one piece of music (softly) playing in your mind for the rest of your life, what would you want it to be?
At The End Of The Day - Michael Schenker
^That's a link, folks. Give it a listen!
What is the most important thing in any relationship?
Honesty. I'd rather hear the ugly truth than a pretty lie. Even if you think that your lie is to spare my feelings, when the truth comes out in the end (and it always does), I'll be even more hurt by your deception.
If the relationship is with a man, SEX comes in a very close second.

Since today is Mother's Day, I offer one of the two reasons I get to receive presents on this holiday, Michael.

Who Would I Be in 1400 AD
My Score: The Harlequin
I scored 42% Cardinal, 48% Monk, 47% Lady, and 27% Knight!
I am a mystery, a jack-of-all-trades. I have the king's ear, but also listen to murmurings of the common folk. I believe in the value of force and also literature. Truly I am the puzzlement of the age.

Manic Monday
What name would you want have if you were the opposite sex?
I never really thought about it...
~ giggles ~
Michael, I guess.
Would you share the tooth brush of your spouse/significant other? Why or why not?
I really don't see why I wouldn't in a pinch. We're talking about a significant other here, so we're already exchanging bodily fluids...
What is a song that you love to hate?
Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton.
I love Clapton, but that song...
BLECH!
I even have some parody lyrics for it. Something about putting on her make-up and brushing he bleached blonde hair.

The City Life for Me
I still don't feel much like blogging, so...
A little blogthing is always nice to keep me somewhat amused.
You Should Live in a Big City |
You don't want anything in particular out of life... you want it all. You crave new and exciting experiences. And you get bored fairly easily. Only very big cities can keep you entertained and stimulated. |
A little blogthing is always nice to keep me somewhat amused.

While You See A Chance
Take it! That's my philosopy...
Your Risk Taking Level: Medium-High |
You're not afraid of a little (or a lot) of risk. In fact, you pretty much live to take chances. Consequences be damned, you are willing to go for it. And if it doesn't work out, at least people can't say you didn't try! |
