If you could change anything about the way you were raised, what would it be and why?
I was born a month too early. No fault of my own, it was a planned c-section. Because of this, I was rather sickly for the first few months of my life. Mom never seemed to realize that after that after those first few months I was fine. I was never allowed to do the stuff my friends did, because "You might get hurt, and we almost lost you when you were a baby." I really could have done without the overprotectiveness. It made me feel like an outcast.
Do you think that the world will be a better or a worse place 100 years from now?
It will probably be about the same. Some of our current problems may be solved, but new ones will arise to take their place. Human nature just doesn't chhange...
At the beginning of a relationship, do you trust your new partner unless there is something specific to make you do otherwise, or do you withhold your trust until he/she has earned it?
I used to be a very trusting person, but my life experience has taught me not to trust anyone until he or she earns it. I've been burned many times.
