Manic Monday

Would you be able to serve on a jury and sentence the defendant to the death penalty if he/she were found guilty of a crime that the court felt warranted the death penalty?
Never! The death penalty is something that goes against everything that I believe, even if the defendant is obviously guilty as sin.

Have you ever faked being ill to avoid doing something you didn’t want to do?
I've faked being ill, lied about having appointments, and various other things to get out of such things. Usually it is a party that I'm trying to avoid. I hate large social gatherings, but I generally don't want to hurt the host(ess)'s feeelings, so....
Excuses, excuses!

Would you state you were guilty of a crime you didn't commit to free a loved one?
That would depend upon many things, such as the loved one involved, the crime, and the possible punishment.
I'd be more likely to do such a thing for one of my sons or my sister than I would for my brother.
