Hey again, She!

I know next to nothing about anime, but my son's into Yu-Gi-Oh... does that count?

I'd like to learn, though. Got any advice on where to start? (and yes, sitting through Yu-Gi-oh is an acceptable answer, although I'd prefer something less tournament-based and more story-based).
