I Love You, Mr. Grey!

This snowstorm has me thinking alot about the sweet kitty that I brought home last year. I fell in love with him the first time I met him. He was such a sweetie, always happy to see me. I played with him every time a certain family on my route had a package. I thought that he was their cat. He was not. They had merely been feeding him since his owner moved away and left him behind.
The day after I discovered this, I brought him into my home.
He sleeps with me. He eats with me. He follows me around.
All is good, but what would have happened to him if I hadn't been around to take him in?!
Should I ever happen to meet his former owner, I will slap her first and ask questions later...
