Tuesday Tunes

Another musical meme from The Music Memoirs.

Tell us about the first album you ever bought.

The year was either 1969 or 1970. It was so long ago that I'm not certain. The album was on a 12 inch vinyl disc. The player wasn't even a stereo! (Yeah, I'm old)

I've tried to find a photo of the cover, but it has never been reissued on CD, I suppose.It was Donny Osmonnd's first solo album. I think that the title was Here's Donny, but I'm not about to go foraging through the depths of the closet to be certain!

If you're curious about what kind of music was on this album, most of the songs on it can probably be found on this CD...

A very far cry from what I listen to now.
