The Review
This album can be summed up in a few short words.
It is Gary Barden's lame attempt at putting lyrics to eleven of the tracks from Thank You 4....
These songs were never meant to have vocals and were best left alone. It would have been much better to write something new than to murder the simplistic beauty of these tracks.
To make matters worse, Gary just doesn't have a voice for an acoustic album. He sounds like a croaking toad without a screaming guitar to back him up.
Fortunately, the album's final track was saved from Gary's uninspired lyrics and horrid vocals. All of the five points that I gave to this go to Michael for the instrumentation, which remains beautiful in spite of it all.
My advice to you is to not buy this one. It just isn't worth the bucks.
