Top 5 Songs You Wish You Wrote
Lyrics are my specialty when it comes to writing music, so this is all about lyrics (or lack thereof).
1. This Time - Scorpions
This was Matthias Jabs' first attempt at writing music and lyrics. The music is great, but the lyrics are a bit pathetic. I wish that I had written them so that they'd be a bit better.
2. My Time's Up - Michael Schenker Group
I just love the snarkiness of these lyrics, enough to wish that I had written them.
3. Let It Be - The Beatles
If I had written the lyrics to this one, I could clear up all speculation about "Mother Mary" once and for all!
4. Forever Angel - Axel Rudi Pell
Just because I love this particular song!
5. TY 4...#1 - Michael Schenker
Acually, I wish that I had written any of the acoustic instrumentals on Michael's Thank You....4 album, simply so that they'd have titles instead of numbers.
