Protect America's Miners

Having had relatives who were mineworkers, this is something that is very important to me...

I just found out that the government agency in charge of mine safety hasn't done its job for more than six years. You can learn more about this here.

The Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) failed to assess fines on more than 4,000 penalties over the last six years for mines that violated safety and health regulations.

This is an affront to workers who put their lives at risk every day. I already told the mine safety agency to get its act together. Please join me.
