Thursday Thirteen

Quite honestly, I know that I am far from perfect, but that doesn't mean I don't try...

Thirteen things to know to help me (or anyone) to be a better person

1. Do not stand in judgement of anyone until you have walked a mile in his/her shoes.

2. Never judge anyone by appearance. Good people come in all shapes, sizes and colors (so do bad ones).

3. If you don't have something kind to say, remain silent.

4. Stand up for the people that you care about, even if you believe them to be wrong.

5. If you can help someone, do!

6. As tempting as it may be to respond in kind to someone who has hurt you, don't stoop to her (his) level. Ignore her (him).

7. Remember that spirituality is a very personal thing. Do not try to force others to believe what you do.

8. Anything that is good is even better when it is shared.

9. Never hold a grudge. There is no sense in letting some fool live rent-free in your head.

10. Don't make promises that you can't (or won't) keep.

11. Live your life one day at a time.

12. Remember that everybody is loved by someone...

13. Don't be afraid to laugh at yourself.
