New iPod Woes

Finally I have an iPod with a capacity of more than 30G. I should be excited, and I am. I can once again have ALL of my music on my iPod! My old one was at capacity and missing lots of stuff. So, why am I having woes?

Because of the way that my little shuffle loads music, I do not want to have all of my music in my iTunes library. For this reason, the big iPod must be managed manually. The problem is that if I try to add more than one folder at a time, I end up with multiple copies of the same song on the pod! Had to add each folder individually. ARGH! It took hours to fill the thing!
